Program Leaders

The Office of Strategic Coordination (OSC) - The Common Fund, Division of Program Coordination, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives (DPCPSI), Office of the Director, National Institutes of Health (NIH) seeks exceptional candidates for several new Program Leader positions.  Available positions are within the Re-engineering the Research Enterprise (RRE) team focused on Transformative Health Disparities Research, Community Partnerships to Advance Science for Society (ComPASS), and Health and Science Communications Research activities.  The Catalytic Data Resources (CDR) team also has an opportunity focused on leading innovative, high-priority, data-intensive initiatives including the Bridge to Artificial Intelligence Program (Bridge2AI) and the Common Fund Data Ecosystem (CFDE).

The Common Fund supports bold scientific programs that catalyze discovery across all biomedical, social, and behavioral research. Our initiatives are intended to be high-impact and may accelerate emerging science, enhance the research workforce, or remove research roadblocks. OSC is seeking a part-time or full-time detailee (note that this an internal-to-NIH position) who would work as part of the OSC Strategic Planning, Evaluation, and Communications Team. The candidate would carry out strategic communication and evaluation efforts for a sub-group of Common Fund programs that range broadly in topic from acute and chronic pain to diversity of the NIH-funded workforce.
